Dr. Stephanie Phillips recently joined Partners in Primary Care, bringing over 20 years of experience as a board-certified doctor in family medicine. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee’s Erlanger Hospital System.
Dr. Phillips knew very early that she wanted to practice medicine while incorporating her passion for teaching others into her doctor-patient approach. She truly believes that interacting with her patients on a personal level and taking the time to educate them about their medical conditions will help them manage and improve their health. Dr. Phillips is a true advocate for building strong relationships with her patients and emphasizes the importance of gaining her patient’s trust, so together they can decide on their best plan of care. This is why she decided to join Partners in Primary Care, because she felt that their integral approach to senior-focused care and multidisciplinary care team worked hand in hand to address all the factors involved in her patient’s healthcare journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with her children, as well as working on her garden, reading historical fiction, and taking ski trips with her family.
